After the success and completion of the Glifberg – Lykke designed bowl in Cologne, North Brigade once again called upon Glifberg – Lykke. This time to design the bowl for Skatepark Eller in Düsseldorf.
An elongated space had been allocated for the bowl which made the design process a bit more simple, since the overall shape of the bowl had already been determined. Features like a bank, pool coping and a variety in heights for beginners was also predetermined. Connecting lines was therefore important in the design, so that there is a connection between the different sections.
The lines in the bowl work wonderfully although the Construction company, Minus Ramps has made undiscussed chances to the roll-in, some of the transitions and the bank. The changes to the Glifberg – Lykke design definitely adds an element difficulty to the bowl.
